The Presbyterian Church In Cameroon - PCC
The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon is the historical and constitutional successor to the Basel Mission Church in Kamerun established in 1886 as an external arm of the Evangelical Missionary Society of Basel (Basel Mission) in Switzerland. It maintains the spiritual and theological continuity of that Church, and upholds the reformed tradition. In 1957, the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) gained its independence from the Basel Mission and since then, it has developed into one of the biggest indigenous Protestant Mission organization in Cameroon with several departments, institutions, projects and programs as well as business units employing about 3000 persons (Clergy and Laity).
The PCC is a national faith based organization with a strong presence in all the 10 regions of Cameroon.

Perspectives
The mission of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) is to proclaim the Good News of God through Jesus Christ, in word and action. The proclamation of this Good News includes preaching the word, teaching, healing and liberating the people of God from sin as reflected in Luke 4: 18-19. The source of our authority is the scriptures of the Old and New Testament (The Holy Bible), which witness to Jesus Christ her Lord. These scriptures are the supreme rule of her faith and practice. Only in obedience to the witness of the scriptures will the church be able to walk towards her goal- the coming Kingdom of God. The PCC believes in God as revealed in Jesus Christ. She confesses Jesus Christ as her only Lord and Saviour, and follows Him in faith and works and does not listen to the voice of a stranger. The PCC believes that the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to the believer sanctifies and leads him or her into all truth. The PCC accepts the Apostles Creed as the appropriate expressions of her faith and as safeguard against heretical teaching.
The PCC recognizes two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, as the symbolic means of God’s grace. As for baptism, it is the visible sign and means of forgiveness of sins, of our union with Christ in His death and resurrection and the mark of our entrance into the visible body of the Church. It is not the act of baptism in itself which ensures our forgiveness and participation in Christ, but it is the Holy Spirit who unites the believer with Him. Moreover, through the baptism of infants, the PCC promises to lead her children in faith until they may know their Lord and walk by themselves towards the great destination, the coming of the kingdom of God. The PCC practices baptism by effusion. Nevertheless, she recognizes baptism by immersion in the name of God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Lord Supper is the visible sign and means of God’s grace for the forgiveness of our sins and of our continuation in union with Christ in His death and resurrection. It is given to the people of God as the spiritual food on the last Supper in the coming of the kingdom of God. By it Christ feeds and gives drink to His people thereby strengthening them in their pilgrimage on earth. By and large, through the Word and Sacrament, the Church symbolically partakes of the one body of Christ and in Him shares the fellowship of those who are also members of the same body, whatever their ethnicity, race, colour, gender, nationality or language.

The Church in The Diaspora
What is today known as The Diaspora Europe Presbytery all began in Antwerp, Belgium way back in 2004.This came as a result of the fact that Christians with the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon(PCC) background living in Antwerp found it difficult to adapt to the liturgy and style of worship of the various denominations they had tried worshipping with. Today the seed that was planted not without adversities has grown and is still growing. Divided into Six Parishes; Belgium, German a
